A Quick Overnight to Lost Lake – Even though it’s nestled up against the Gore Range and just over the ridge to the south of Piney Lake outside of Vail, the views at Lost Lake just aren’t as grand or iconic. It’s still a beautiful spot, but it probably doesn’t top anyone’s ‘must see’ lists for Colorado and a Google search doesn’t’ even result in too many images.

But I love it and figured that after all these years, I should get up there for a quick overnight…
