A Last Sunset in Banff

A Last Sunset in Banff
Banff National Park, Alberta

The Great Road Trip of 2015

A Last Sunset in Banff – I had caught a glimmer of hope that morning while re-energizing at Lake Louise, but then the snow and rain came back in while I was in Yoho and although it was shaping up to clear, it was the last straw for me. I was going to head home the next morning, direct to Jackson for a halfway point, and back to Beaver Creek the following day. I was disappointed in myself for bailing, but excited to get back as well.

But that was the next day – there was still time to shoot Moraine Lake in Banff National Park, sans clouds this time.

Since the clouds totally disappeared on me, I raced over to Herbert Lake along the parkway. I’m glad I did…

This is breathtaking. I’m antsy to travel again and your photos only intensify that.
