The Four Seasons Nevis
Saint Kitts & Nevis, West Indies
This past fall, I was lucky enough to spend seven incredible nights at the five diamond Four Seasons Nevis hotel, an ultra-luxurious and serene hideaway on the remote island of Nevis, a slice of peaceful paradise in the West Indies. [See: Saint Kitts & Nevis.] Walking in the front doors, the open-air lobby is beautiful and sophisticated; A Caribbean ambiance made up of blues and yellows, mahogany furniture, and tropical greenery and flowers. The whole resort encompasses 350 acres of a former sugar and coconut plantation, yet it has an undeveloped, laid-back, and sleepy atmosphere. The three infinity-edge pools surrounded by quiet verdant alcoves are incredibly peaceful and the four restaurants offer incredible menus of locally sourced meals, all with unbelievable ocean views.
When I travel, I’m rarely in one spot for long. Seven nights here was not even close to enough.
